Description
Tyrunt
The Royal Heir Pokémon
Although smaller in stature than it's succesory, Tyrunt can still be dubbed as one of the top predators of its time. More nimble than Tyrantrum, it is thought that Tyrunt hunted in pairs, bringing down prey such as Aurorus and Shieldon. Their powerful bites also allowed them to crunch through the tough shells of Kabuto and Tirtouga.
- Neck plumage provided basic protection, while also being used as a mating display method.
- Sturdy tail provided balance while running.
- Powerful hind legs allowed Tyrunt to reach speeds of up to 35mph.
Sexual dimorphism was common among this species, with males having brighter plumage and larger crests.
It was believed that Tyrunt could also dislocate it's lower jaw, allowing it to cause massive bite trauma to it's prey.

Okay, so I've started a little personal project to help me get back into the swing of my art; as I've been in a bit of a lull for a while now. I've always wanted to try doodling up some 'Field Notes' for the Fossil Pokémon, specifically the Dinosaurian species.
So, yeah, probably won't see any Chus for a while, but I'm content working on this and I hope you guys enjoy my Palaeontological ramblings!
