Reeling from the previous attack, Rhoda's legs faltered, and she limped back to her side of the arena, barely standing. With great heaving breaths, muscles trembling, Lem could tell that her friend was on the last of her HP.
Glancing towards Athena, the palaeontologist attempted to assess the damage. Deep scratches to the chest cavity, and shallow breaths indicated that Rhoda's Zen Headbutt had caused some series internal injury to her opponent. She couldn't have that much HP to take down now.

Taking a deep breath, Lem assessed her options. Another hit like the last one, and Rhoda will be done for, She thought, a pained expression crossing her face as her trusted partner glanced to her trainer with a determined look in her eye. We might have to use 'that' move to secure our win. 
Lem nodded, towards her friend.
"Are you ready, Rhoda?" She asked, her eyes stern and serious.
The great dinosaur let out a low rumble, she wasn't going down easily.

It's time. We can do this. Let's go!

I've ditched quality here to try and reach the deadline. I at least want to get Athena out of the way before I resort to writing the rest of my entry as prose. I didn't realise how much time it would take to complete these pages! >(
