Lem smiled, Rhoda had landed the first hit thanks to her Quick Claw.
"Great job, girl!" She yelled across the stadium, to which her friend replied with an equally prideful roar.
Raven smiled, here was her chance. "Athena, now! Sky Uppercut!"
Before Lem could even alert the Rampardos to the attack, the enraged Blaziken had thrown her entire weight into her punch, hitting Rhoda square in the jaw. Excited flames danced around the pair as Athena let out a vengeful shriek, her punches relentless as she continued pushing Rhoda farther and farther back towards her trainer. In a last ditch attempt to throw the enraged bird Pokémon off of her, Rhoad sunk her blunt foreclaws into the Blaziken's chest, ripping out feathers as she finally managed to pull herself away from the onslaught.
